The Steadmans

Hi girls. It has been so much fun to read up on all of your lives! PJ and I were married the August following graduation. PJ began working as a carpenter for Alder Construction and In 2000, I started working for Swire Coca-Cola as a PC Support Tech. We moved to Lehi and I went back to school and graduated in Computer Science from Weber State. I was promoted to a computer programmer position and stayed there until I quit last year with the birth of our 3rd baby. We tried for a couple of years to get pregnant without success and were told by an infertility specialist that we would not be able to have babies without invitro. We prayed about what we should do next and decided to adopt. Within two months we found out about a young mother who wanted to give her 15 month old boy up for adoption. We were given custody of Jake (Jacob) 8 weeks later. Everytime I think back to that time I am amazed at how smoothly and quickly it all happened. We know that this little boy was supposed to be a part of our family. A few months after that we moved across town and Surprise! Surprise! found out that I was pregnant. Jake's adoption was final in November of 2005 and we were sealed as a family. Our second baby Will (William) was born in March of 2006. When Will was 8 months old we found out that we were pregnant again. Obviously, either the infertility specialist was totally wrong, or our two babies needed their big brother first. Mckay was born in July of 2007 and is now 8 months old. PJ is a superintendent now at Alder and I have been a stay at home mom since July, and am still learning the ropes. Three boys (4, 2, & 8mo) are a handful but more fun than I could have ever imagined. Congratulations to all you new mothers, being a mom will be the best thing you ever do!! The pictures are from our first family trip to Disneyland and Sea World last month.

Here is Brody Dobbs

Heather news

Hey guys. It is so fun to hear from all of you. Way to go Sarah in starting this!!! I can't believe it's actually been almost 10 years since we graduated from Snow. Seriously, those days are so close to my heart. I try to tell my husband how much fun it was and he just doesn't get it, but that's o.k. I've got all of you to share it with. Wow, where to begin?? After Snow I moved to Provo and worked for a year at a mortgage company. Then of all the crazy things for me to do I decided to go to beauty school. I finished that and worked in Provo doing hair and played A LOT as well. I then decided to move back to Las Vegas and went back to school and graduated in Elementary Education. Just before I graduated I was dragged by my wonderful friend (Nicole Williams) to a singles barbecue where I met my husband, Tyson Dobbs. He is from Las Vegas. We dated for a year while I taught 4th grade and then got married. I continued to teach 3rd grade for 2 more years while my husband went to school and worked as well. He graduated from UNLV last year in accounting and decided that he wanted to go to law school. We were accepted to Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. We are currently living in Spokane and he's about to finish his first year. The best part of all this is the birth of our little boy, Brody. He was born on Jan. 22, 2008 (I can't believe I'm the last one to have a baby!) It is so much fun and I'll try to post some pictures of him, although I'm not very good at this. I miss you all and I'm so glad we can keep in touch better with this blog. Love ya tons, HED

Gimbel Crew

It is so great to hear how everyone is doing. You all have accomplished so much over the past nine years. I guess I will try and go back that far as well. After Snow, I went to BYU and finished my undergrad. I had lots of fun there living the Provo life. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to last long enough. In December 2001 I graduated in teaching and moved back home to Henderson. I got a teaching job in February at a school in Henderson that opened that fall. I taught Kindergarten half day and pulled out first graders the other half of the day. The next year I went to teaching only first grade. I have been teaching first grade for the past 6 years. Shortly after I started teaching, I decided to go back to school and get my masters (what was I thinking??) During the summer of 2003 I started taking classes at UNLV and continued to take classes after work throughout the next year. I finally graduated in Early Childhood Special Ed. During the spring of 2005, I started dating Justin Gimbel. I knew of him in high school, but remet in the singles ward. We had a FAST dating and courtship! Then after what seemed like living the single life forever, I got married on October 14, 2005. We bought a house not too far from both of our parents. A little over a year later, we had a baby boy. Parker was born on Ddecember 29, 2006. He is a little over one and getting into everything. Up until last week, I was in the Primary Presidency, which was getting tricky with trying to chase Parker during Primary. I think I covered it all. I tried including some pictures, but the server was not working so well. I will try again some other time.
I am sure Natalie won't do it, so I will give you a little update on her. She went to Dixie the year after we left Snow. That is where she met her husband Matt Jensen. He was actually living in Vegas, but was in St. George visiting friends, which were Natalie's neighbors. They have been married almost 8 years and have 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. Jack is actally a month older than Parker. Alexis is 6 and in Kindergarten and Hannah is 3. They also live in Henderson.
